Check your real-time progress in-game via Hero interface → Achievements tab → Completionist category, or by touching the cape at the Museum. Both list every outstanding requirement live, which is more current than any static guide.
Reaper Crew and Master Quest Cape are NOT required for the untrimmed Completionist Cape as of the June 2023 rework — they only gate the Trimmed version now.
Time estimates here are rough buckets, not measured unlike MQC's video-sourced numbers, these are inferred from each achievement's scope (X/N counters, single unlock vs. multi-step). Useful for sorting and rough planning, not a precise forecast.
Buying isn't a separate requirement once everything above is met, purchase from the Museum guard on the top floor of Varrock Museum for 5,000,000 coins — it's just claiming the reward.
